Big Kush is an indica/sativa cannabis strain bred from Big Skunk (Critical+) and an OG Kush. It is a highly vigorous strain that can grow into a very large plant outdoors or in a greenhouse. Big Kush is a high-yielding, fast-flowering strain that has a very well-balanced effect that is potent and organoleptically rich. It develops heavy, conical-shaped buds which are very resinous. It has relatively few leaves which makes manicuring the buds a very simple, easy task. If grown indoors then it is recommended to veg. for a short time as this strain can really stretch a lot during the flowering phase increasing its height by 2 or even 3 times. In this environment yields are likely to be about 600 gr/m2 in 55 - 60 days of flowering. Outdoors Big Kush can be an excellent choice in either warm climates such as is found in the Mediterranean or under the glass of a greenhouse. Harvest will be either in late September or very early October with 600 - 900 gr/plant being easily achievable. Dinafem recommends feeding organic nutrients as this really improves the taste and also makes it much more suitable for therapeutic usage. The high levels of limonene in Big Kush gives it a pronounced lemon" character to the smell and taste and this is complemented by the fuel-like qualities of the OG Kush parent.
